Poetry With Our Kindergarten Buddies

Since April is national poetry month one of our Fuller Meadow Traditions is to celebrate by sharing poetry with our  buddy class the Friday before April vacation. We shared many of our favorite poems from our poetry notebooks with Mrs. Libby's kindergartners. The kindergartners enjoyed showing off their reading by sharing their favorite poems with their second grade buddy. The second graders also did a retelling of the folktale, The Mitten using stick puppets. It was a fun afternoon for all.
